RestPilot Support

RestPilot helps you estimate sleep debt, plan a wind-down time, and understand likely energy windows.

How do I connect Apple Health?

Open Settings in RestPilot, choose Data Sources, then choose Connect Apple Health. If sleep data is unavailable, confirm that sleep tracking is enabled in Apple Health and on Apple Watch.

Why do I see sample data?

RestPilot uses sample data when Apple Health is unavailable, permission has not been granted, or the app is running in Simulator.

Does RestPilot use step or activity calories?

No. RestPilot reads Apple Health sleep analysis only after permission. It does not read steps, active energy, workout calories, or walking calories, and it does not calculate a rough walking estimate.

How do reminders work?

Wind-down reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. You can clear or reschedule them from Settings.

Is RestPilot medical advice?

No. RestPilot is for general wellness and habit planning. It is not a medical device and does not replace guidance from a qualified clinician.

Where are the Sources & Safety notes?

Open Settings in RestPilot and choose Science & Sources. The app lists Apple Health documentation, CDC sleep guidance, NIH sleep resources, and peer-reviewed sleep-duration references.
